Audit Firm - Changes in Firm Particulars


Member Firms are required to submit the following documents to MIA upon changes as stated below:

Changes in Procedures
HQ and Branch Address & Contact Details
  1. Log in to the Firm’s Profile in the MIA website and select the following:
    • Submit Applications - Application to Change of Firm Details.
  2. Enclosed the following:
    • Copy of updated Form under Section 265 (4) lodged and acknowledged by the SSM.
    • Copy of letter confirming the changes by the SSM on the lodgement form.
Register New branch
Closure of Branch
Admission of Partner
Resignation of Partner
Closure of Firm Submit to MIA the following:
  • Copy of updated Form under Section 265 (4) together with the SSM letter confirming the firm closure.
  • Return the original Firm Certificate issued by MIA.
  1. The changes will be updated in the member firm database upon submission of complete documentation.
  2. The relevant documents must be submitted to MIA within 1 month from the date of changes.
